Hazeltine - Our Farm

For your convenience, the prices of strawberries remains constant throughout the entire season. The berries are sold by quantity. When picking their own strawberries, customers will use a special Hazeltines' 4-quart basket which holds about 5 1/2 lbs of strawberries. Each time the basket is re-used on following visits, the customer will receive a 25-cent discount. The price during the 2009 season is $7.25- which is about $1.30 per pound.

Pre-Picked Prices

Buying pre-picked strawberries is obviously much less time consuming and less strenuous work! Therefore, the cost for them is higher than the U-Pick prices. Pre-picked berries are sold by the quart. The price during the 2009 season is $4 per quart. It is advised to call ahead to place an order for pre-picked berries, 608/ 876-6161- or you can email an order at hazeltinestrawberries@yahoo.com. We do our best to have berries when you want them, but we cannot control the weather.

Get Your Berries During Peak Season!

During the peak season in June, Hazeltine Strawberries opens daily at 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on weekdays, and from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends. (Sometimes we must close early if ripe berries get picked out early. A telephone call before your trip is advised.)
